1. Information We Collect

• Account information: when you create an account through our authentication provider, we receive your name and email address.
• Billing information: if you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details. We receive your plan and subscription status and a billing contact; we never receive or store card numbers.
• Usage information: basic technical and usage data, such as pages viewed and actions taken, used to operate and improve the Service.
• Cookies:cookies and similar technologies necessary for authentication and session management, plus product-analytics cookies used to understand usage and improve the Service. You can opt out of analytics by enabling your browser's "Do Not Track" setting, which we honor.
• Attribution cookie: on our public pages we set a first-touch attribution cookie recording how you first found us (for example the referring page or campaign tag), so we can understand which marketing works. It does not track you across other websites.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and maintain the Service; authenticate you and secure your account; process subscriptions and billing; send service email you request or that the Service requires (such as alerts you subscribe to and billing notices) and occasional product updates, which you can opt out of; and analyze and improve the Service.

3. Service Providers (Subprocessors)

We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service. Each processes information on our behalf, only as needed to run the Service, under its own privacy and security terms:

• Clerk: authentication and account management.
• Vercel: application hosting and content delivery.
• Neon: database hosting (PostgreSQL).
• Resend: transactional and notification email.
• Stripe: payment processing; receives billing contact and payment details. We never store card numbers.
• Sentry: error monitoring and diagnostics.
• Upstash: rate-limiting and abuse prevention.
• Cloudflare: privacy-friendly, cookieless web analytics.
• PostHog: product analytics (usage and funnels) to improve the Service.

We update this list as our providers change.

4. Public E-Rate Data

The competitive-intelligence information shown in the Service is derived from publicly available USAC E-Rate program data. This public data concerns funding applications and service providers; it is not personal information about you and is not collected from your use of the Service.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers above as needed to run the Service, or where required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and may retain limited records as required for legal or operational purposes.

7. Where Information Is Processed

We are based in the United States, and information is stored and processed in the United States by us and the providers listed above. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your account information by contacting us at the address below; we respond to verified requests within 30 days. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, which we will honor as required. Closing your account will remove your access to the Service.

10. Children

The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
